The Northwell Health Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seeks a hematopathologist for our Hematopathology department based in Greenvale, NY. The service covers two major tertiary hospitals (North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center), a children’s hospital (Cohen Children’s Medical Center), outpatient bone marrow service, and hematopathology from regional Northwell hospitals with interpretation of bone marrow, tissue pathology, heme FNA, flow cytometry, and clinical hematology services.

Eligible candidates must be AP board certified in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology, as well as Hematopathology, should have great diagnostic skills, teaching interest and experience, preferably with more than three years of post-fellowship experience and academic background / accomplishments. Strong candidates without experience will be considered as well.

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
