The advanced phlebotomy/processing medical technician performs and results a broad range of waived tests including finger-stick based testing, documents and processes specimens obtained during rapid on-site evaluations in the CT suite, and assists patients with complex sample collection by anterior nasal swabbing and urine collection schedules such as 24-hour. Serves as the Back-up Lead Phlebotomist/Specimen Processing technician as needed by the P&LMS service for coverage.
