Associate Director of Blood Bank & Transfusion Medicine
Summary: The Academic Practice of the WMCHealth Network seeks a full-time board certified/eligible Associate Director of Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine. Additional fellowship training in HematoPathology, or expertise in other areas of Clinical Pathology would be preferred. The position is primarily based at the Valhalla campus with oversight of transfusion services across the network. The candidate will assist the Dept. Director and Chief of Blood Bank to oversee all aspects of blood bank/transfusion service operations and participate to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of CAP, NY State Department of Health, and other applicable regulatory agencies.
