Under general direction of the Director of Laboratory Services, the Assistant Director of Laboratory Services assists in planning technical activities and supervising personnel of the Department of Laboratory Services at Ventura County Medical Center (VCMC) and Santa Paula Hospital (SPH). The Assistant Director of Laboratory Services will be assigning, reviewing, and participating in the work of a group of laboratory personnel; and performing related work as required. PAYROLL TITLE:  Manager - Laboratory ServicesEDUCATIONAL/BILINGUAL INCENTIVE: Incumbents may be eligible for educational incentive of 2.5%, 3.5%, or 5% based on completion of an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree that is not required for the classification.
