Transfusion Medicine Faculty Position
The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, invites applications for a full-time faculty position to serve as an Associate Director of Transfusion Medicine. The academic appointment may be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, in the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical or Clinical X series, depending on experience and extent of research effort. Both HS and Clinical X faculty provide patient care; teach fellows, residents, and medical students; perform public and University service; and contribute to scholarly activities. Clinical X faculty are expected to conduct more substantial research. Candidates must have an MD or DO degree, be eligible for a California medical license, and have board certification/
