A Supervisory Medical Technologist serves as a supervisor in the laboratory at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the GS-13 Laboratory Manager. The incumbent's primary responsibility is providing direction to testing and non-testing personnel, such as medical technologist, medical technicians, and medical lab technicians in specimen testing, collecting, processing and accessioning, and quality control activities of the section.
