Our Medical Technologist is a fulltime, benefits-eligible role, created to be part of our newly formed lab team located in Dallas, TX (Addison area). We are seeking a candidate who can operate with strong performance, as the team evolves and demand increases. Our laboratory consists of 2 newly installed Roche Cobas Pro 503s.
Work in a traditional office (lab environment) scheduled Monday – Friday 10am – 6:30pm. During peak season, weekend /holiday shifts will be needed, as well.

Follow the procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result.
Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
Review and release test results.
Follow quality control, quality assurance, safety, and infection control procedures to include but not limited to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and other safety guidelines.
Perform instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
Adhere to the lab quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and all maintenance performed.
Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance.
Maintain complete records of all testing performed on-site.
Maintain general appearance of the department.
Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies.
Train other team members on procedures; Demonstrate and educate laboratory principles and technical skills to others.
Participate in laboratory projects and educational activities.
Participate in all applicable safety training sessions. Know the location and contents of the safety manual. Know the location/use of all applicable safety equipment.
If needed, participate in government or regulatory agency inspections.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with all Catapult Health internal and external customers.
Perform other duties as directed by Lab Director or Lab Manager.
