Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Surgery Opportunity

The Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Cincinnati Children's seeks outstanding applicants with training and experience in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (PAG) for a fulltime position. Our team of specialist are nationally recognized for comprehensive medical and surgical management of pediatric and adolescent reproductive health concerns from infancy through young adulthood.

Our team works with families to develop a care plan that meets the needs of each child. Our mission is to promote reproductive health, while preserving future fertility in girls and young women of all ages. Our staff specialized gynecologist offers thoughtful approaches to the medical and surgical management of gynecological problems in girls and teens that can have profound consequences on sexual development and future fertility. We combine innovations in diagnosis, medical and surgical management with an emphasis of optimizing future reproductive potential.

Applicants must have demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching and must be interested in providing outpatient clinic services and PAG consultations for general pediatric inpatient teams and pediatric subspecialist. Applicants must have interest/ experience in building a "multidisciplinary" complex care team that includes PAG collaboration with general pediatrics and pediatric surgery to provide medical/ surgical care. Experience in a full range of PAG services for adolescents including family planning, medical/hormonal management for adolescents with menstrual dysfunction, complex medical conditions, menstrual suppression/ developmental delay, infectious conditions, ovarian pathology, gynecological problems in prepubertal girls including the medical and surgical management of chronic pelvic pain and hormonal problems including PCOS.

This is a faculty position. The faculty member will be an active participant in the clinical, research and academic services in the Division of PAG. Including the training of pediatric and adolescent gynecology residents and fellows, and hold a clinical faculty position through the University Of Cincinnati School Of Medicine.

Qualifications

Required:

MD, DO degree or equivilent

American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology board certified or board eligible

Completed a formal fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology

5 years experienced as a Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Surgeon

Qulified for an Associate Professor Rank
