Manager Clinical Lab Operations - Lab-Administration

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Laboratory Director, this position is responsible for the daily and long-term operations of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (DPLM). In collaboration with the laboratory operations team, the Operations Manager ensures requirements are met for regulatory/accreditation compliance, facilitates resource management, and participates in systems planning. This position oversees personnel management to ensure high quality patient care, continuous process improvement, and employee engagement.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a College Degree - 4 year with a Masters Degree preferred. CLS - Clinical Lab Scientist license or Medical Laboratory Scientist ASCP certification required. A minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible laboratory experience and a minimum of three (3) years management experience including process improvement required. A minimum five (5) years demonstrated mastery of the job content through success in this role in multiple organizations preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period. Exempt position.

PAY RANGE: $52.70 - $82.25
