The Lead Medical Technologist (MT) will work primarily within the Blood Bank section will required to work in other sections of the Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service for the North Florida/South Georgia VA Medical System located in Lake City, Florida. The Lead MT facilitates team or unit processes by working in collaboration with other team members to ensure the tasks, priorities, goals, and needs of the Blood Bank are met under the direction of the laboratory supervisor. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
