Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Phlebotomist II for our Laboratory Outreach Program to work five days per week from 8:00am - 4:00pm, and including 1 weekend per month.

• Outreach Phlebotomy Program requires an experienced Certified Phlebotomy Technician with excellent customer service skills to perform specimen collection, patient registration and specimen processing at AHS Lab Outreach locations in physician offices or at Patient Service Centers.
• Must be able to work independently as well as with a team along with being able to travel from site to site as needed. Must contributes to the Atlantic Health's mission by drawing blood from patients and collecting and documenting specimens based on physician orders.
• This clinical staff position is the face of the lab and their effort starts the whole laboratory process, providing phlebotomy draws with attention to patient comfort and the physician orders. Timely and accurate processing and documentation of the specimens impact the entire laboratory process.

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of a certified phlebotomy program

License/Certifications:

• ASCP certification preferred

Relevant Work Experience:

• 1-2 years of Phlebotomy experience highly preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
