Required: Graduate of an accredited school of MRI
Preferred: Associate Degree in Allied Health or Bachelors Degree and certification in another clinical imaging field

Required:

• 6 months in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with supervised clinical experience
• Possesses working knowledge of cross section anatomy and MR pathology

Preferred: 2-5 years in MRI

Required: Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology or (ARMRIT) registry eligible according to ACR guidelines. Must be registered as a MR Technologist within one year post graduation of accredited school. If Registered with ARRT in ionizing radiation, must possess current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license.
Preferred: ARRT in MRI

BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
