Summary The Laboratory Assistant performs routine technical and clerical functions. The Laboratory Assistant performs venipuncture, specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens; will perform CLIA waived laboratory tests, as requested. Responsibilities Performs routine technical and clerical functions to include specimen registration and billing. The Laboratory Assistant performs specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens. The Laboratory Assistant performs phlebotomist duties as assigned.
