Medical Laboratory Technician - Primary responsibility is to perform careful and accurate scientific work using a variety of manual and automated procedures, while consistently maintaining compliance with all current regulatory agencies. The performance of EKG’s, arterial, capillary and venipuncture phlebotomy is required. 

 Medical Technologist (Microbiology) - The Section Lead tech has lead responsibilities for the performance of laboratory testing in the section, maintenance of instruments, and quality control that require the exercise of independent judgement and responsibility. The Section Lead MLS/MLT must be able to handle high-pressure situations and demonstrate strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities/skills. The Section Lead MLS/MLT must work effectively and harmoniously with patients, staff, and the public as well as work to promote a unified team environment.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science. Must be certified by a nationally recognized credentialing agency for medical laboratory science, ML (ASCP) or MT (AMT).  No experience required. Must pass certification exam within one year of hire.
