Summary Laboratory Assistant II performs routine technical and clerical functions. Laboratory Assistant II performs venipuncture, specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens; will perform CLIA waived laboratory tests, as requested. Other related duties as assigned to Laboratory Assistant II Responsibilities Due to the nature of Laboratory Services, it may become necessary to require employees to work extended hours or other variations of the usual shift to ensure adequate care of patients and maintain service to the community.
