The University of Washington, Seattle Children’s Hospital, will have one additional opening for a hematology oncology fellowship slot beginning July, 2023.  The program provides a broad and deep range of training in all aspects of hematology, oncology, bone marrow transplant, and cellular therapies.  We treat patients from a number of states in the Pacific NW, including  Alaska, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana.  The clinical immunotherapy program has treated over 430 patients on multiple investigator initiated trials developed in Seattle. Other research experiences are equally broad, ranging from labs and dry bench research at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute to the Fred Hutch Cancer Center, and the University of Washington. A number of faculty members in the division are national and international leaders in the fields of hematology, leukemia, sarcoma, survivorship, and outcomes.   Seattle is a vibrant and beautiful city with easy access to the outdoors.   For more information, please contact Julie Rivers, Fellowship Director, at Julie.Rivers@seattlechildrens.org.

About The University of Washington, Seattle Children’s Hospital
Consistently ranked one of the nation’s best children’s hospitals. Together, we deliver superior patient care, advance new discoveries and treatments through pediatric research and serve as the pediatric and adolescent academic medical center for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho – the largest region of any children’s hospital in the country. U.S. News & World Report has recognized Seattle Children’s as a top children’s hospital every year since it began ranking medical facilities 30 years ago. This means your child will be cared for by the very best. Hope. Care. Cure. These three simple words capture what we are here to do. That’s because at Seattle Children’s, compassionate care, breakthrough research and generous donors come together every day for children who need us. Compassionate Care For more than 100 years, Seattle Children’s Hospital has specialized in meeting the unique physical, emotional and developmental needs of children from infancy through young adulthood. Through the collaboration of physicians in nearly 60 pediatric subspecialties, we provide inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, surgical, rehabilitative, behavioral, emergency and outreach services ...– regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Breakthrough Research At the forefront of pediatric medical research, the research division at Seattle Children’s is working to cure childhood disease and improve outcomes for children all over the world. The division consists of Seattle Children’s Research Institute and Seattle Children’s Therapeutics, and is internationally recognized for its work in cancer therapies, genetics, neuroscience, immunology, infectious disease and bioethics.
