Department needs a candidate that can work Varied Day shifts, including weekends Responsibilities Job Functions: Prepares patients for US exams and explains the procedure to the patients prior to examCorrelates the clinical history with the US exam to be performedDifferentiates artifacts from the normal pathological processes and recognizes equipment limitationsMaintains lists of sonographic exams performed from each patient as well as document the preliminary reading by the radiologistsTroubleshoot problems regarding operation of equipment-notifying appropriate personnel in the event of equipment malfunction
