The University of Michigan is seeking a full-time medical hematologist to provide outstanding care and expertise in the evaluation and management of patients with non-malignant hematological disorders. This individual will join an outstanding team of clinicians and researchers as part of the hematology team providing clinical care and research opportunities to enable the highest success in treating patients with benign hematological conditions.  Our team consists of clinicians, clinical researchers and physician scientists focused on cytopenias, myelodysplastic syndromes, coagulopathies, and other benign hematologic conditions.

Responsibilities will include in-person and telehealth clinics and inpatient hematology services, as well as educating medical students, residents, and fellows. Structured mentoring will be available to the successful candidate interested in an academic career in benign hematology.

The ideal candidate will be an outstanding and compassionate clinician and be board certified/board eligible in hematology. Holding or having the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of Michigan is required.
