The School of Phlebotomy is a comprehensive training program where the employed student phlebotomist will learn to perform venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood specimens on all age groups, from children to adults. Training occurs through didactic and clinical rotations covering the procedures that phlebotomist must perform, as well as the roles that phlebotomists play in the health care arena. They will gain the knowledge to perform a wide range of tasks in order to be responsible and accountable for providing specimens of the highest analytical quality for testing.Job
