Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, the Phlebotomy Technical Specialist acts as a technical resource to staff for the clinical functions of the Lab Central Phlebotomy. The technical Specialist may also help coordinate and direct the activities of all personnel within Phlebotomy. Additional responsibilities include developing a work plan, and implementing established policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments. Ensures department procedures and processes meet all regulatory compliance. Oversees daily operations of Lab Central Phlebotomy staff. Assists with scheduling, ordering supplies, competencies, customer service issues, coverage of break and policies and procedures. Assists Phlebotomy staff as needed. Experience:
