Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a full-time, day shift (rotating weekends) Non-Technical Laboratory Coordinator to provide expertise and champion results. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels the patient experience is as meaningful as we do.
You Will:
- Coordinate the activities of non-technical support functions of the department on assigned shifts under the supervision of the department supervisor, manager, or director.
- Perform all non-technical duties within the department. Functional areas may include, but are not limited to specimen collection, specimen processing and referral testing
- Support the department in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities.
What qualifications you will need:
- A High School or GED required
- Vocational/Technical diploma preferred
- Phlebotomy Certificate preferred
- 1-3 years in specimen collection and processing
- 1-3 years in a clinical laboratory setting
