ResponsibilitiesAs the Senior CLS Specialist Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the day to day operations of the Immunogenetics Center. Primary duties include: management of employees, scheduling, assessing and improving workflows, maintaining supply inventories and placing orders, and assisting with all quality roles including incident management.

Qualifications•Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist (CHS) license
•Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in human immunogenetics, human histocompatibility and/or human transplantation immunology testing in an ASHI-accredited laboratory
•Knowledgeable in performing the procedures for Histocompatibility testing
•Working knowledge of medical terminology, quality assurance methods and theories, and common statistical evaluations used in generating statistics
•Ability to supervise all activities of the section including organizing team assignments; training; and performance management
•Ability to work safely in an environment with variations in temperature, instrument noise, usage of toxic or hazardous chemicals, fumes, odors, and biological agents
Not required, but a plus if you have the following:
•Prior experience in leading and/or supervising
•Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in human immunogenetics, human histocompatibility and/or human transplantation immunology testing in an ASHI-accredited laboratory
