Cytotechnologist
A Cytotechnologist is responsible, but is not limited to the following duties:Position summary:The Cytotechnologist screens GYN and non-GYN cytology cases; refers the appropriate cases for pathologist’s review and maintains adequate records of the above activities.General duties and responsibilities:1. Screens GYN and non-GYN cytology slides; annotates findings.2. Set up sample and run sample3. Monitor working reagents, buffers, solutions and probes.4. Separates GYN cases as per policy for pathologist's review; enters them in the daily log with the reason for referral; organizes slides and reports.5. Enters in the computer and verifies negative GYN cases.6. Keeps a log of number of slides screened, other tasks perfo
