The Histology Supervisor is responsible for oversight of Histology, Special Staining, and Immunohistochemistry and provides technical supervision of histology technicians/technologists, and histology-based lab assistants. The Histology supervisor ensures that current state and federal regulations and policies and procedures are followed by personnel within the laboratory, including safety practices. Routine benchwork is required.  This position reports to the Laboratory Manager and works under the guidance of the Medical Director and Histology/IHC Section Director (MD).
