PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide patients with quality food and meal service through oversight of meal preparation, storage, menu processing, tray assembly, and delivery. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees all aspects of food preparation for the patient tray line to ensure quality control. Monitors food handling, preparation, recipe compliance, and product rotation, taking corrective action as needed. Conducts routine food and recipe testing both from tray line and at point of service.
