Works independently under the supervision of Radiologists and assigned leadership. Performs a variety of procedures utilizing ultrasound and other imaging equipment. Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric.
*Accurately and efficiently performs ultrasound and other imaging procedures. These may include, but may not be limited to; radiography and CT imaging within the scope of licensure.
*Participates and coordinates patient care and flow. Provides for physical and psychological needs of patient during examination.
*Maintains accountability to and for policies and procedures.
*Maintains understanding of and follows current exam protocols.
*Maintains accountability to technologist competency and quality control standards.
*Stays current on training and continuing education.
*Maintains accountability to adhering to staff schedule and call schedule.
*Assists with maintaining and ordering supply stock as directed.
*Maintains equipment and coordinates repairs and service as needed or directed.

1. Graduate of accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography required. 2. ARDMS Registration required. 3. Minimum of one (1) year ultrasound experience preferred. 4. Current CPR required. 5. Possess skill in all ultrasound procedures and comprehensive knowledge of anatomy. 6. Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed. 7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required. 8. Valid Montana Driver’s License required. Must be 21 years of age, have a good driving record clear of moving violations in the past five (5) years and no major driving offenses (DUI, etc. Must possess and maintain current insurance on personal vehicle.
