The Medical Technologist performs a variety of laboratory tests on blood, tissue and body fluids using both automated analyzers and manual methods. The Medical Technologist ensures accurate, timely reporting of patient test results in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis, confirmation, and treatment of various clinical conditions and diseases. The Medical Technologist performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required: Minimum of Associateï¿½s Degree from an approved college or university and/or graduate of an accredited school of medical technology.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
Required: Minimum Experience Specialized training of 12 months (clinical rotation) from an accredited Medical Technologist program.
Required: Florida Medical Technologistï¿½s license
