The VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS) is a Level I tertiary multi campus teaching facility affiliated with the University of Maryland, School of Medicine and over 100 educational institutions. The VAMHCS consists of the acute care Baltimore facility; the multi building Perry Point campus ; the Loch Raven campus ; and six urban and rural outpatient clinics. This position is located in the Sterile Processing Service Section of the Chief Nurse Executive. The incumbent is responsible for direct transporting and supply support through a variety of activities such as: decontamination, preparation, sterilization, reprocessing of various endoscopes, quality control, equipment maintenance and control of all patient wards, clinics, Operating Room (OR) and Special Procedures for ENT, Dental, Podiatry clinics, ENT, GI, GU, GYN, Audiology, Urgent Care and the CBOC's.
