ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, PEDIATRIC HEMATOLOGY / ONCOLOGY



The Department of Pediatrics at Stony Brook Children's Hospital seeks faculty for the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at either the Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor Level.



To qualify for an appointment as Associate Professor the candidate must meet the School of Medicine's criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure located at:

Requirements include: MD/DO Degree, Board Certified in Pediatrics, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.



Preference will be given to candidates with experience in attaining funding for and conducting a program

in clinical and/or basic research in Hematology/Oncology.



Responsibilities include teaching, research and patient care programs appropriate to a major university. Individuals will be selected on the basis of their training, clinical experience, research potential and their commitment to teaching.
