Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Variable Shift, Part Time

PerformsLaboratory testing and/or prepares blood components.  Maintains a working knowledge of departmentalstandard operating procedures.  Thisknowledge includes the use of specialized analytical instrumentation, clinicalcorrelation of test results, quality control requirements, and preventativemaintenance.  Supports the laboratorymission.  Participates in the continuousquality improvement process through professional development, continuingeducation, research and development, and quality assurance.

This position requires the full understanding andactive participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Memorial MedicalCenter.  It is expected that the employeedemonstrate behavior consistent with the core values.  The employee shall support SaddlebackMemorial Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of theperformance improvement plan.
