Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:

 

  • Must have basic computer skills to operate LIS and HIS systems
  • Must have proper communication skills to convey information effectively
  • Must be a people-person to work with a variety of different people regularly
  • Ability work in a quick-paced environment
  • Knowledge of basic state and federal laws as applicable to laboratory setting
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One Year Phlebotomy experience preferred
  • CPR certification
  • ASCP Certification preferred

 

Job Summary:

The Phlebotomist / Laboratory Assistant collect patient specimens using approved techniques to ensure a true picture of the patient’s condition. The phlebotomist performs a variety of clerical functions to ensure proper organization of the department records and prompt, accurate results to the clinicians.
