Medical Technologist I
University of South Alabama Health
Follows standard procedures to perform routine, timed, and STAT moderate and complex laboratory tests. Educates Clinical Laboratory Science students or new employees in instrument operation or procedures. Reports all critical values following laboratory protocol. Maintains instruments by performing maintenance procedures and calibration. Experience in flow cytometry is preferred. Applicants may qualify for retention bonuses, housing allowance and relocation fee.

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and registry eligible with the American Society of Clinical Pathology as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist.
