Most of the samples are from non-traditional species including birds, reptiles, fish, and wildlife. The pace is busy and technical staff cover multiple service areas and are involved in lab management and clinical research including test implementation and validation. It is understood that most applicants will not have experience in veterinary clinical pathology but strong lab skills are important.
