JOB SUMMARY - SIGN-ON BONUS $1500.00

The Phlebotomist 2 collects and processes quality specimens in a safe manner as outlined in BSWH policies and procedures. Aids in the delivery of exceptional patient care. Assists with training and auditing of behaviors and performance, as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Follows all established specimen collection, labeling, transportation, and handling procedures.

Responsible for high customer satisfaction through professional and ethical conduct.

Performs job responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner.

Performs clerical duties.

Demonstrates engagement with achieving department goals and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS - SIGN-ON BONUS $1500.00

- LOCATION - BUMC Dallas, TX

- SHIFT- Night 7on7off 10:00 p.m. - 8 :30 a.m.

-EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent

- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE - 1 year or more experience 

- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
       Phlebotomy Technician (PBT): Must have a Phlebotomy Tech Cert from one of these agencies:
ASCP, NPA, ASPT, NCC, NHA, AMT, NAHP, AMCA or ACA.
