Summary

As a board-certified genetic counselor with a strong molecular genetics and genomics background, and familiarity with next-generation sequencing technologies, you play a key role in delivering cutting-edge, production-quality, highly scalable genome interpretation for clinical and research products in the field of cancer diagnostics.

 Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and curate information for genetic and genomic variants identified on next-generation sequencing
• Evaluate case data and create reports for somatic tumor profiling tests
• Participate in efforts to streamline variant interpretation and reporting processes
• Assist with inquiries from potential and existing customers
• Train clinical operations team members on applicable clinical protocols
• Provide clinical expertise to inform product development and market strategy, including scientific literature curation and consumer content development and review
• Assist in development of resources and provide clinical input, advice and support for commercial teams
• Participate in tradeshows and conferences (booth duty and speaking opportunities)
