| ResponsibilitiesThe Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking to hire an Immunogenetics Laboratory Supervisor to manage the Immunogenetics Center (UIC) clinical laboratory team for the evening shift. In this key position, you will provide support and supervision to a team of Clinical Laboratory Scientists and Hospital Laboratory Technicians. You will also be responsible for overseeing evening, graveyard and weekend laboratory testing, which includes pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes. Qualifications•Must have current California CLS license or CHS certification •Five years of supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory, strongly preferred •Five years of management skills such as planning, problem solving, organizing, supervising, and coordinating the work of others, strongly preferred •Must be flexible and be able to troubleshoot issues that arise outside of normal working hours/off-hours •Excellent interpersonal skills UCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
