Consider the following executive opportunity with California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS): Receiver’s Clinical Executive, Clinical Laboratory Services $101,340 - $179,760 annually, depending on assignment and qualifications CCHCS Headquarters – Elk Grove, CA We are seeking a solutions-oriented, no-nonsense clinical executive to provide oversight, organization, and leadership for the operations and delivery of all CCHCS laboratory services within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s 35 adult correctional facilities. In this capacity, you will also: - Provide executive leadership and overall administration of CCHCS’ statewide laboratory program
- Maintain and improve laboratory services operations
- Implement laboratory services quality assurance and performance monitoring
- Oversee Cerner Electronic Health Record System maintenance and operations for laboratory services
- Direct clinical training and competency assessment of Clinical Laboratory Services staff
To thrive in this leadership role you must have: - Current CA laboratory licensure by the California Department of Public Health Laboratory Field Services
- Five years of clinical laboratory experience in a comprehensive medical setting, a minimum two years of which must have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity
