This administrative role will ensure that the laboratory develops and uses a quality system approach to laboratory testing that provides accurate and reliable patient test results. The Laboratory Director designs quality systems to ensure quality testing and continually monitors each testing process (e.g, QC, PT), taking corrective action, and evaluating the corrective actions taken to prevent recurrence.
