The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the University of Virginia invites applications for an Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology certified Pathologist. The successful candidate must qualify for an appointment at the rank of an Assistant or Associate Professor of Pathology. The successful candidate will participate in general surgical pathology sign-out and FISH interpretation on tests performed in anatomic pathology. Additionally, the qualified candidate will have subspecialty fellowship training in an area of anatomic pathology, possess superior diagnostic ability, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work as a team member.
