Pathology Consultants of New Mexico is looking for an experienced cytotechnologist with at least 3 years of service who is ASCP certified with a BS Degree from an accredited Cytotechnology Program and is ThinPrep Imaging System certified.
Duties will include ThinPrep Pap test and nongyn specimen interpretation, as well as QC slide review and some QA duties. Some processing of nongyn specimens and guidance of our cytoprep staff with specimen receipt and processing is required. Must have effective problem-solving, decision-making, communication and cytology identification and interpretation skills.
Work schedule is full-time days Monday- Friday with rotating Saturday (weekend) on-call for nongyn services as needed.
