Assists with the coordination and implementation of the department-wide quality assurance program. Participates in data collection, collation, analysis of process or outcome measurements, including but not limited to Quality Control, Proficiency Testing, and general Quality Assurance. Supports National Patient Safety Goal initiatives within the Department and proactively provides education to staff based on identified needs. Performs bench duties as needed/required.
Position requirements: BS or MS in Medical Technology. ASCP MT or MLT. Minimum of 5 years pertinent full time experience, preferably as a generalist. Experience in statistical analysis preferable. Knowledge of CAP/CLIA regulations. Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
