The Department of Laboratory Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic is recruiting a full-time academic Transfusion Medicine physician to join a group of five Transfusion Medicine physicians. Candidates must be certified in CP or combined AP/CP by the American Board of Pathology and be board certified in Transfusion Medicine. A minimum of 5-years of experience is preferred. The successful candidate will participate in our growing Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine services provided at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and Regional Hospitals. The Section includes Transfusion Services and a Blood Bank with automated and manual testing, in addition to a Progenitor Cell Processing Laboratory. Experience/interest in progenitor cell processing is desirable. We support an ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship program. The Section of Transfusion Medicine is a dynamic, collaborative group and there is ample opportunity for clinical and translational research as well as teaching of students, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals.
