Our laboratory staff are responsible for obtaining blood samples, performing laboratory testing including quality control and maintenance and reviewing work performed by co-workers. In addition to providing safe and high-quality care for our patients, you will also:
Display proficient microscopic techniques to perform urinalysis, serology, hematology, chemistry and bacteriology procedures.
Supervise either directly or indirectly all laboratory services, both inpatient and outpatient. Evaluates services of the Laboratory Department to ensure safe quality care.
Assist in investigation and follow-up, including corrective action when necessary, in response to complaints and/or concerns from patients, families, staff or providers.
This position is permanent, 40 hours per week. Shift is 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday; Holiday rotation (2 to 3 holidays per year) overnight shift, 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. TCHC offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and retirement. The main campus in Wadena hosts a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, emergency department and ReadyCare walk-in clinic.
In addition to providing rural hospital services, TCHC also owns and operates six clinics in Bertha, Henning, Ottertail, Sebeka, Verndale and Wadena. Other locations include a physical rehabilitation clinic and behavioral health clinic in Wadena, satellite physical therapy operations in Bertha and Henning, and a wellness center in Bertha.
