Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/or procedures.
Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
Ensures image quality, excellence in patient care and uninterrupted work flow. Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy
Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Analyzes and incorporates current clinical and business trends. Provides input into the budgetary process.
Facilitates required departmental adjustments to ensure cost effective delivery of quality care and services
CertificationRequired: ARRT- R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) and
AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association.
Required: Associateâ��s Degree in Radiologic Technology or Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
Preferred: Bachelorâ��s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Required: Three (3) years of continuous diagnostic technology and knowledge in either of the listed multimodalities: CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and Cardiovascular Lab/Special Procedures, Interventional Radiology, Neuro, Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, etc.
Preferred: Five (5) years clinical experience and knowledge in multimodality (listed above), including supervisory experience.
