Henderson Community College serves approximately 1,500 credit, dual credit, adult education and workforce development students each semester in the Northwest Kentucky Region. Henderson is one of 16 colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). The college and its faculty and staff are focused on student and community development and success. HCC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
The MLT program coordinator has responsibilities in the following areas: teaching, student guidance-advising, student recruitment, maintaining national accreditation of the program, educational leadership and institutional service.
The program director must be a medical laboratory professional who:
has an earned master's degree (Successful candidate will have to up one year to complete) or doctoral degree
holds ASCP-BOC certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist
has teaching experience
has knowledge of education methods and administration
