Works under the direction of the manager and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technical operations of the core laboratory section, in accordance with the established hospital and department policies and standards. Plays a lead role in the strategic planning process and the implementation of initiatives focused on enhanced performance, workflow redesign, and developing a culture that emphasizes excellence in the quality and delivery of laboratory services.
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science. Specialist certification preferred based on management area. Minimum of five years of Laboratory experience and one-year supervisory experience preferred. MT(ASCP).
