Senior Technologist responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of hematology and coagulation within the laboratory. Reports directly to the lab manager and indirectly to the laboratory director and medical director. Duties include: staff competency, adherence to CAP, CLIA and joint commission regulatory standards, review and maintenance of instruments and quality control. Maintaining a high level of involvement within the department, including a high % of time performing actual testing. Required to stay current with industry and instrument trends, and be heavily involved with quality improvement initiatives. Previous supervisory or lead experience are desired. Modeling of excellent customer service with patients, their families and with nursing staff is expected.
$2000 Sign-On Bonus to be paid as follows: $500.00 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months and $1000 after one year of employment.
