You will perform laboratory analyses in an accurate, timely, courteous and effective manner to support comprehensive patient care. Duties include performing phlebotomy, EKG, and clerical functions such as quick registration and placing orders in the computer system to help facilitate efficient delivery of patient care.
Florida Medical Technologist license or Temporary Clinical Lab Tech license in appropriate disciplines required.
Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related science as required by the State of Florida if being hired for a Medical Technologist 1; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required if being hired for a Medical Technologist 2.
Must have 1 year of experience for the Medical Technologist 2; New Grads will be considered for a Medical Technologist 1.
CPR certification required.
